I found this Hoppe's Fire-Fast Outdoorsman's Stove in a local second hand store. I have used the Hoppe's firearm cleaning solutions for many years so I was familiar with the name. But I had no idea they made anything like this. Other information on the box states, 'PRODUCT OF PENGUIN INDUSTRIES, INC., PARKESBURG, PENNSYLVANIA 19365'. And on one of the box flaps 'ITEM NO. FF-1, MFG. BY FRANK A. HOPPE DIV., PENGUIN INDUSTRIES, INC. 19365'. From the little information that is available on the internet, it appears that Penguin Industries acquired Hoppe in the early 70's and later sold it in the late 90's to Brunswick Industries. So this stove would have been manufactured somewhere between the early 1970's to the late 1990's.
